Recently, we found these tips from Bertrice about the Book Biz. "Keeping Your Head Above Water" was in a folder in a box of Bertrice's research materials. These were the notes she used as a panelist at a Literary/Romance convention in Savannah Georgia. My personal favorite point that she made regards editing.
