Although I never had the joy of meeting my father in law, I have learned a lot about him through stories Tom has shared, his writings, work, etc. My impression of him is that he was wise, loving and had an awesome sense of humor. I believe Tom must be very like him. I'm posting the below poem he sent to Bertrice on Valentine’s Day as an example of the kind of man he was. I hope you enjoy!
